IN CASE OF ACCIDENT

In the event of a medical emergency resulting from a diving accident, go immediately to the nearest doctor or hospital without delay, and then contact us.

If the medical emergency is resolved with a visit to the medical center without requiring hyperbaric treatment or hospitalization, after paying the bill, send it along with the medical report and your bank account number to admin@segursub.com so that the insurer can process your reimbursement.

If the emergency medical treatment requires hyperbaric chamber therapy or hospitalization and a payment guarantee is needed, please contact us by phone/WhatsApp at +34 971 693 930 and send the following documentation to admin@segursub.com:

- The completed attached form

- Medical report with the initial diagnosis regarding the cause of the injury/illness

- Proposed treatment plan for the diver and its cost

- If hyperbaric treatment is required, the pre- and post-treatment assessment reports must be submitted.

If additional hyperbaric treatments are needed, a separate Payment Guarantee may be considered upon receipt of a complete medical report.

Once the treatment is complete and the patient has been discharged, the final invoice issued by their accounting department must also be sent to admin@segursub.com

We trust that this procedure will ensure the efficient and effective processing of diving claims under the Scuba Medic insurance program.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have detected that some clinics or hyperbaric chambers in certain countries require patients to provide their passports until all treatment costs have been fully paid. We must inform you that your passport is an identity document owned by the state that issues it, and no clinic or hospital has the legal authority to confiscate it. Therefore, retaining your passport is considered illegal, coercive, and an undue form of pressure. If this occurs, you must immediately contact your consulate, request an detailed invoice of all expenses, and forward it to us via WhatsApp at +34 971 693 930 or by email at admin@segursub.com.
